Celtic Rose Tattoo
Ancient Celtic symbolic was full of cutting patterns, complex knots, spiral and whorl, animal and zoomorphic forms and vibrant colors. Early Celts have their art reflected mainly in the metal jewelry, ornaments on the arms (they were fearless warriors), figures and pottery.
Tradition interlaced knots has spread from Ireland to Britain and Scotland, Wales and all of continental Europe. Later on, the Viking and other Nordic peoples, which are then win the coast, over some of these symbols, they have adapted, and connect with the more chaotic and animal forms, and by default on their own.
Celtic knots are complete, they converging forms without beginning and end. Animal ornamental is similar, but the ends of flows in the animal heads, feet, tail etc.. Pure knots are still endless, and stylized, clean forms. Their importance goes beyond normal and conductive meaning, but the deeper symbolism in them the combination of spiritual and physical shape without end represents infinity pure life, love and fate.
When on the Celtic Land comes Christianity, the monks then simply adjust and take a lot of Celtic traditional forms. The result is the Celtic Cross, or such as tree of life. Then format the most important records of the Celtic tradition, for example Book of Kells (kept by Trinity College in Dublin).
Modern people, descendants of Celts, have developed some unique forms; in North America many people bear these symbols, to express their belonging to Celtic great ancestors. The most common symbol of Ireland as the three-leaf clover much is also a harp. This has been a traditional and popular Celtic music instrument of all peoples throughout history. Welsh flag represent red dragon on a green-white background, they have the most significant symbol of Wales.
